Juli Brown, owner of In Balance Organizing Services, has worked for more than 15 years helping people improve their lives and get organized, first as a licensed clinical social worker and now for the past three years as a professional organizer. She brings a client-centered and non-judgmental approach to help her clients identify their goals and find solutions best suited to their unique situation.

Juli currently assists residential, home-based business, and small business clients to reach their organizing goals. Her approach is based on the philosophy that being more organized can help to reduce stress, increase productivity and create balance by freeing your mind, and your time, to do what you really want to do. Her background as a social worker, along with her organizing expertise and training make her uniquely qualified to assist her clients in getting organized and creating balance in their lives.

Juli has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. She has earned a Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization and in Basic ADD Issues with the CD Client from the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD). She continues her studies through NSGCD to stay informed of the best methods and strategies for helping people with chronic disorganization and ADD.

She has worked as an organizer, agency directory, Board president, program coordinator, counselor and trainer. Her organizing experience has included residential organizing, office organizing, public speaking, strategic planning, program development, the development of policy and procedure manuals, event planning, statistical collection and analysis, record keeping and the improvement of office administration and functioning.

Juli is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). As a member of NAPO's Quantum Leap Task Force, she volunteers her time to conduct workshops on time, paper and financial management for agencies serving low-income clients.

A mother of two young children, Juli also knows from personal experience how to organize a household and the busy schedules of an active family. She is constantly challenged, and inspired, by her children to develop new and innovative organizing solutions.
